CNC Focus Downloads

Here are some files you can download from this site. The file list is in no particular order. Some of these files have been provided by others. We have checked all of these files for a virus. However, we cannot guarantee that you will never get a virus from files that are downloaded from the Internet. You must perform your own virus checks.

VCS-Apt_V15_Setup.exe is the install file for VCS and is included in the VCS-Apt_V15_Setup.zip file download. Just run the file to begin installation. All other EXE files are self-extracting archive files. Copy them into a temporary folder, change to that folder and click the file name to install.

Follow the directions in the README file (if it exists) for program installation and execution.

All of the ZIP files require WinZip, or a compatible program, to unzip. Once the files are unzipped, into a temporary folder, run the setup program (if one exists) to start the installation.

Visual CamScript V1.5 (VCS) is an Interactive Development Environment (IDE) for CNC programmer's using the APT programming language. VCS is packaged with an Apt language processor, VCS-Apt. VCS-Apt is a subset of the Apt language and is upward compatible with most other Apt systems, and especially compatible with Personal Apt V2.6.

This distribution includes Master Mill Postprocessor and Master Lathe Postprocessor (MMPOST and MLPOST). The postprocessors are User-Configurable and may be configured to satisfy a broad range of requirements.

This is a new release and we still need to complete the documentation and tidy up a few more things on our Web Site. However, this download will give you a full featured version of VCS to try for 30 days.

While we're working to complete those things, you can download the PA Guide.zip shown below. VCS-Apt follows the Personal Apt V2.6 language specification very closely.

Requires MS Windows 2000/XP/Vista (32-bit) Operating System.

Vista users will need to run VCS as an administrator in Windows XP compatibility mode. Click this link for instructions on how to manually set the Compatibility Mode.

This manual covers Personal Apt V2.6 with the Extended Features Set.

A separate section of the manual deals with the Master Mill Postprocessor^TM (MMPOST) and Master Lathe Postprocessor^TM(MLPOST) options and configuration process.

Until our electronic documentation is completed, you may use this manual as a reference for the Apt language features implemented in VCS-Apt.
